Obama’s 1st 100 days

Obama’s 1st 100 days

What does the triumvirate of Obama-Pelosi-Reid offer?

Rep. Barney Frank is calling for new tax hikes on the most successful
and a 25 percent across-the-board slash in national defense.
Sen. John Kerry is talking up new and massive federal spending, a la
FDR’s New Deal. Specifically, we can almost surely expect:

Swift amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens and a drive to
make them citizens and register them, as in the Bill Clinton years.
This will mean that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona
will soon move out of reach for GOP presidential candidates, as has
California.

Border security will go on the backburner, and America will have
a virtual open border with a Mexico of 110 million.

Taxes will be raised on the top 5 percent of wage-earners, who now
carry 60 percent of the U.S. income tax burden, and tens of millions
of checks will be sent out to the 40 percent of wage-earners who pay
no federal income tax.
Like the man said, redistribute the wealth, spread it around.

Social Security taxes will be raised on the most successful among us,
and capital gains taxes will be raised from 15 percent to 20 percent.
The Bush tax cuts will be repealed, and death taxes reimposed.

Two or three more liberal activists of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg-
John Paul Stevens stripe will be named to the Supreme Court. U.S.
district and appellate courts will be stacked with “progressives.”

Special protections for homosexuals will be written into all civil rights
laws, and gays and lesbians in the military will be invited to come out
of the closet. “Don’t ask, don’t tell” will be dead.

The homosexual marriages that state judges have forced California,
Massachusetts and Connecticut to recognize, an Obama Congress
or Obama court will require all 50 states to recognize.

A “Freedom of Choice Act” nullifying all state restrictions on abortions
will be enacted. America will become the most pro-abortion nation on
earth.

Affirmative action – hiring and promotions based on race, sex and
sexual orientation until specified quotas are reached – will be
rigorously enforced throughout the U.S. government and private sector.

Universal health insurance will be enacted, covering legal and illegal
immigrants, providing another powerful magnet for the world to come
to America, if necessary by breaching her borders.

A federal bailout of states and municipalities to keep state and local
governments spending up could come in December or early next year.

The first trillion-dollar deficit will be run in the first year of an Obama
presidency. It will be the first of many.

Welcome to Obamaland!

This post could not make me more happy. Finally the grid lock will be a thing of the past. With President Barack Hussein Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Leader Reid at the helm of power we will get much of the injustice and ails of our country repaired. We will see a more fair tax system, universal health care, social security/medicare saved, and an end to our unjust wars. The standing of America will be respected world wide once again. The Supreme Court will be stacked with Justice’s that will rule in the interest of the people not the special interest. Gone will be the litmus test. Global warming will be a thing of the past. Neo-cons should be rejoicing. You too will benefit from this trifecta of hope and change. Change will be swift and unblocked due to the neo-cons wrong thinking ideology. President Barack Hussein Obama will straighten out this country in the 8 years he will be in office.

ExPatriot If you agree with Obama, Pelosi and Reid, you’re a socialist
commie too. Did you ever think of standing on your own two feet and go
out and work for those things you want government to give you. No, you
want people who do work, to pay for it. The day may come when you’ll
do an honest days work . That’s when you’ll know what it’s like to hand
your hard earned money to people who refuse to work.

No one minds helping those who are unable to work or those who need
    help temporarily.
The resentment is for those who make a lifetime of it.

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk is that all you neo-cons know is insult and hatred. It must be very tough going through life in such a miserable state of mind. I don’t have any need from the government. I am well off. I speak for the millions of poor and middle class Americans who do not have a chance in this country anymore. Im speaking for the fireman who has to work a second job just to get by. Or maybe Joe the Plumber who has to work 12 hours a day 6 days a week too just pay his bills. The neo-con experiment has been a huge failure. The rich got richer and nothing trickled down. Hard working people don’t want a “hand out” they just want a level playing field. How can you look into the eyes of a dying child or adult and deny them the same medical care that I can afford? Senior citizens must choose between money for heat or food. Smart teens that must skip college because it is too expensive. A 14 year old girl that made a mistake and now must raise a child. Neither will have a future. America imposing there will on two soveriegn nations, Iraq and Afghanistan. America not willing to treat global warming as a real threat to our existence.
President Barack Hussein Obama will change the course that this country has been on for way too long. He will change right the ship and sail us to a new beginning for a better world. Peace, fairness, equality and civility will be the new order. This will be the best 8 years in US history.
