AMERICA : Born 1776……Died 2008

It does not hurt to read this several times.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:

* Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
* Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
* Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
* Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2..1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the tax paying citizens of the country.

The current electorate and districting systems will ensure the status quo.

Need to scrub the present structure and return the vote to the taxpaying citizen.

  2. PATRIOT Says:

Oh you forgot the statistic that counts…..Obama 54% of the vote. A MANDATE from the American people to move this country forward. Boy talk about sour grapes!! YOU LOST NOW GET OVER IT!!!!

Patsy- see my prior post for explanation. The system is being jury-rigged to wieght the vote towards the minority (not in the ethnic sense, but the political extreme left wing elements), not the majority moderate-right of center electorate. Your 54% is misrepresentative since only 30% even turned out to vote, many illegal votes were cast and double-counted and finally many at conservative or republican polls (especially the military and oversees) or didn’t have their votes counted.

Now, you need to get over it.
